Anxiety & overthinking
Understand the worry, self-doubt, and pressure that can make it hard to feel present or trust yourself.
A space to slow down and get curious
Therapy can be a space to better understand yourself, explore the patterns shaping your relationships, and find new ways forward — at your own pace.
Online therapy for adults · Sessions offered where I am authorized to practice.
You can start right where you are
Maybe you're overthinking conversations, navigating difficult family dynamics, or noticing familiar relationship patterns showing up in new ways. Maybe you're moving through a transition and aren't quite sure what you need.
Therapy offers space to make sense of these experiences, understand what's beneath the surface, and explore how you want to move forward. You don't need to have the perfect words or a clear plan before we begin.
Areas of support
Our work will be shaped around you, your experiences, and what feels most important right now.
Understand the worry, self-doubt, and pressure that can make it hard to feel present or trust yourself.
Explore how past relationships and early experiences may shape trust, closeness, emotional safety, and connection today.
Make sense of recurring dynamics, communication struggles, and the push and pull between wanting connection and protecting yourself.
Explore familiar roles and expectations, clarify your needs, and navigate boundaries in complicated relationships.
Make room for uncertainty, grief, and growth as you move through change and figure out what comes next.
Get curious about the parts of you that show up in different situations and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
A different way to approach therapy
Therapy isn't about becoming a completely different person. It's about understanding your experiences with more curiosity and compassion, so you have more room to choose how you want to move forward.
A little about me
I'm Meghan Sutherland, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe many of the ways we think, feel, and relate to others make sense when we consider what we've experienced.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and relational. Drawing from relational and psychodynamic perspectives, along with Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, we'll explore how your history and relationships may be influencing your present.
There isn't one right way to do therapy. Some sessions may focus on a current challenge; others may invite us to slow down and look at a pattern that's been around for a while. We'll work together to understand what feels most meaningful to you.
What working together looks likeTaking the first step
You don't need to know exactly where to begin. We can start with a conversation and take it from there.
We'll have a free 15-minute consultation to talk briefly about what you're looking for, answer initial questions, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
If we decide to move forward, we'll review availability, discuss fees and insurance where applicable, and complete the intake process.
We'll start with what's been on your mind and work together to understand what feels important to explore, at a pace that makes sense for you.
Whenever you're ready
Let's start with a conversation and see if we're a good fit.
